We've Moved!!

The temporary location for the Lander Library is:

275 North 3rd St, Lander

This is the American Legion building that's located across the street from NOLS Headquarters. This will be our temporary location from 9/1/07 through roughly 12/1/08 so we can renovate the existing structure and expand on the property. There are no meeting spaces available during this period of time.

Fremont County Library (Lander)

Headquarters library for the Fremont County Library System, the Lander Library is a Carnegie Library built
in 1907. The beautiful Carnegie Room has facilities for meetings, and the building serves as the Business Office and Processing Department for all of the branch libraries.

A new addition was added to the Lander Library in 1976, while maintaining the original architecture of the Carnegie building. The library has since purchased adjacent land and has future plans for expansion.

The library is fully automated, yet it still retains that friendly small town atmosphere, and you are welcomed with a warm greeting and smile.
