At one time the Fremont County Library System
had nine branches within the county. But, boom turned to bust,
and we shrank to just three libraries, Lander, Riverton and
Dubois. Many of the former branches hung in however they could,
with volunteer help. Now they are beginning to share in Wyoming's
new economic optimism and growth.
